I judged my cover.
In a fit of anxiety about releasing my debut novel into the world, I started listening to more advice. Specifically, the endless suggestions of people who know more than me about book cover design.
Some of the fundamentals make a lot of sense, and I swallowed my pride and deleted the original cover I had planned to launch with.
As I discussed in my last post, books often go through many cover designs in their lifetime. So I’ll save my original for when War of the Sparrows is a household name that everyone knows about and I don’t need to tell them what it’s about by cramming a cinematic poster on the cover.
So here it is. My new cover based on expert opinions for a book of an unknown author.
